| Here's One Positive Experience With Purchasing a Morkie! Hi Marlingirl1013,
I wasn't necessarily looking for a Morkie. My Cairn Terrier had just passed away and I was grief stricken! I just happened to look in the classifieds one day and saw this adorable puppy. I didn't care what kind of dog she was. I fell in love with her immediately and knew she was for me! It so happened that the woman who ran the add lived in my neighborhood and owned both parents. That's why I have a picture of Snowy (Mom) and Tigger (Dad). I did not buy her from a puppy mill. This woman was sincerely concerned about placing the pup in the right home. I continue to this day, to send her pictures of Abbey. She did not charge me an arm and a leg either. She was being sensitive towards my recent loss of my dog, Buddy. This all happened just prior to Christmas. Abbey could not, and did not, "replace" Buddy. He will always have a special place in my heart. Thankfully, love knows no bounds and Abbey is loved for being Abbey. I don't care what kind of dog she is! She is mine and I love her. I read a lot of negative posts about greedy breeders, and people who frown on anyone who purposely cross-breeds purebreds, so I wanted to share my experience. I realize how blessed I am. Like I said, I wasn't looking; It was a Christmas blessing!! I've already posted some pictures of Abbey, and hope it's all right to show you a picture of our beloved, Buddy who passed away on 12-13-09. Good luck in finding your dog! |
