I don't know why a Chi (can't spell the whole thing) and a Yorkie wouldn't get along, but I would still be very concerned about two young and very small dogs, with two very young children. JMO. It's good that you are there 24/7, but it is a lot to take on and a good chance for injury to one of the little dogs.
