If the anal glands are just full, you won't smell anything. Diet can effect their performance, and between the sand and the food last week she very well may be having a temporary problem. They can become painful... you may see her shaking or even hiding in places she doesn't normally go. If it is her glands... I wouldn't wait a week to see the groomer, the glands can rupture on their own (you don't want that to happen). I would plan on taking her in... my vet will see mine without an appointment for anal gland expression, or sometimes have a tech do it.

Sometimes when the glands are full, scooting will express them somewhat, but it's very stinky....
