yes that sounds good 3 times daily with a teaspoon of tripett; if u see that he's starting to have diaherea decrease the trippet to 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon; as it could be a bit rich.
aslo it would be great if u can add some probiotic to the food; that will make their GI system stronger and can fight any bad bacteria.

in my opinion canned food is better for dogs as it's higher in moisture and much easier to digest.
after suffering 3 years with my dog; she has inflammatory bowel disease now. she only eats wet food; can't tolerate dry food at all.
i know a lot of people think dry food is necessary for teeth but that's not true. if u have time do some research and u will see it's not true.
u can always brush their teeth few times a week if needed.
please ask if u have any questions. good luck

Hi Ally. Thanks for your valuable advise. I have Nutra-stat gien to me by the breeder. I made some research that this is not really a probiotic but just a supplement. Which probiotic do you give your dog? DO you get it from the vet? How many times a week do you give it?

I feed my puppy Eukanuba's small breed formula as suggested by the breeder. If I was to give him wet food, which would you recommend? Although dry food helps clean their teeth you do have a point that you could brush their teeth twice a week.

Again, your valuable advise is appreciated. Thank you very much.
