Hey all you Europe residents I was just wondering how dog friendly your countries are? In November I put in for my next assignment and I'm hoping to go to the UK but I also want to put some back up bases on the list just in case nothing is open for me in England.
I want to live in a dog friendly city/country where there will be dog parks and lots of places I can bring Rizzo along and where I could find him a little sister or brother while I'm living there.
I'd start searching now for a new little one, but he/she might only be a year old when traveling, and one of the two would have to ride cargo
then again Rizzo may have to ride under the plane depending on airline regulations and where I go to. Pretty sure if I go to the UK and take a flight he'll have to go cargo, but maybe they'd keep him next to his big brother Fatso.
Just looking for some input, if you've traveled around Europe and saw some great dog friendly places I'd love to hear about them. And if you absolutely love England I definately want to hear more about it, as it is top on my list of places to go to next
Any thoughts on driving from Italy to England? I know I'd have to take a ferry from France, anyone ever do this before? Would they check the PETS paperwork before letting me on the boat, or when I get to the dock? So many questions, trust me I'll have thousands when I do get an assignment, lol!
