Glad to here that your pup is doing fine, and sorry that you and op that have to go through this. Shayna had lpd at 8months, 3 vets were consulted, they all told me the same, that is not proof that is genetic, but it will be nice to notify the breeder about Shayna just to let her know, so I did, and she was in shock and surprise, she retired mom and dad. Shayna had it on the left leg got her operation, and you can even tell she had it, she don't limp she is a happy healthy dog, we call her our forever puppy because she always playing, she is 3 now and never had a problem again, with anything, her hair grow so well too, is now soooo long
