Sometimes we get pups that are difficult to place. I have placed pups after having them for long periods....and it hurts...I always feel awful for them to have to make another adjustment. The one thing I always remind myself of is that the home I am sending them to is the one that best suits their needs and the last time they ever have to make an adjustment. If I kept every foster that came to me I would not be able to take any more in. And...honestly, sometimes they need to be in a different home. Our job as foster parents is to evaluate them and place them in the home that is best suited for them.
