You did not see her website the other day, I did. I was appalled at how for a price, dogs could be bought with full registration, IMO ethical breeders would not promote/sell their dogs this way. |
And you are right I only saw the website today. And everyone is entitled to an opinion.
However, this is not about partis, chocolates, blues, golds, oranges, or apples. It is about a champion boy that Rosemark has stated went from her home to another trusted friend who championed him. That person broke her trust and sold him to another. That person then sold him again to Crestwing. How would the lady from Crestwing had known that 2 people prior to her was the untrusted one? Why does she get the brunt of it? She didnt break anyones trust so how does this fall under "backdoor"? Maybe I am misunderstanding what that term means.
The OP sold the original fella with full registration, did the first owner pay higher for that privilege? How about the 2nd? or the 3rd? When show prospects are sold do they not have a higher price tag and/or co-ownership?
My opinion is that if you do not want a dog bred or shown you spay/neuter.
However, I do not expect everyone to do that or believe that. That is what makes it an opinion. But some people are pushing their opinions and in a not so nice way. That is wrong. Plain and simple.
I also support ethical breeders. I have not seen anything to say that the new owner is anything but. I do not know her.
