You should read about puppymills Im sure theres some links in the library. Puppymills are large comercial operations that mass produce puppies to be sold at petstores. The breeding parents are kept in a cage all there lives and their sole purpose is for breeding. Alot of times they dont have medical care, usually they are kept in horrid conditions and yes alot of times the puppies are sick
