Bitter sweet ending!

Yes, animals do grieve. My yorkies Sadie adopted a little black kitten and mothered it for months on end and one day i received a knock on my door from the little boy down the street. He stated that he watched her kill the kitten that she had tossed the kitten around and hit its head off the building. Well I went over and picked up the kitten and rushed it across the road to the vet. It was still alive but it was no dog that did this Linda said. Needless to say the kitten had to be put down. Afterwards, she said that someone had beat its head in. I went home and baried the kitten. When Sadie went to look for her kitten and couldn't find it she cried and searched every where. It got so bad that she quit eating. I called all around trying to find a black kitten every where and no luck. So I took her to and animal shelter and I let her pick out another kitten that she liked. The people there looked at me as though I was nuts but that was mybaby and Iwould do anything to make here happy again. And that I did she mothered that kitten and to this day her and that kitten sleep and eat together and are always together. By the way we found out that the little boy killed the kitten because he was brought up that black cats are bad luck and to kill everyone that he sees.
