My little Kush is overall a sweet boy, or so I thought. Yesterday while playing in our front yard (no leash) he spotted our neighbor's Schnauzer mix older dog Turbo walk towards me and went berserk. Turbo has been very friendly to us, stays outside a lot and has always come into our yard in looking to be pet.
Kush even has had a few play sessions with him about two weeks ago.
Anyway, at the sight of this dog, my yorkie just barked and chased him into going to the neighbor's house underneath a parked truck. I had a tough time getting him to stop chasing and behave.
Today morning while I took him out to do his business outside, a jogger went by our house and Kush hated him too. This time he did not chase the guy (thankfully or I'd have some explaining to do) but ran to the front door and just kept barking and being irate in general.
Is this normal behavior? I have been socializing him the past few weeks with lots of guests visiting us and walking him every day around the neighborhood and elsewhere. We've even taken him on a visit to Chicago (6 hours away) last weekend and he seemed ok in the new city too.
What am I doing wrong here?
