Thanks, everybody! Really good suggestions. I'm keeping her in her kennel a lot, but being 8 years old, she's ok with that so far. Since our grass is usually wet in the mornings, I put a baggie on her splint. But my hubby had a great suggestion-he's going to pick up some condoms tomorrow to put on the splint when we go out. It will be less bulky and really keep it dry. Putting on the baggie with a rubber band is a pain, too. I had a long talk with Latte and told her that she's going to have to let me know when she wants to go potty or get a drink. We're pretty simpatico!!
