I understand why you started this thread. And what it boils down to, is ehtics, integrity.

But, keeping in mind the person owned said dog, breeds horses and views animals as livestock. Thinking that it's a dog or a horse. Sad but that's the way they think. The Yorkie world is a bit more stringent than that. Especially in the reputable world. The person that purchased the dog for someone else and then passed it to someone else....well none of them feel that they've obtained the dog via the back door. Something that is frowned upon.
