do you get antique road show that was my dads fav programme its about people who bring there own stuff to see if its worth anything, sometimes it is, i like it when some people think its worth thousands of pounds and turns out to be worth nil there faces are a picture.
i have a sewing machine that was my nans mums and was passed down to nan, its in a walnut unit, when electric machines came out my grand father changed the machine into a electric one its so fast, my nan passed away 2 years ago at the age of 96 and it was given to me, we have sanded down the unit and revanished it and it takes pride of place in our extension, i use it a lot when im sewing and when im not it has a runner on it and a vase of flowers |
