Thank you so much!

We had a little setback on Friday. She had been sleeping for most of the day, not moving at all, other than to greet a few people who would walk by. At the end of the work day when her daddy came to pick us up, she went nuts and ran out to see him as usual. She came back to me, and he left to use the washroom and she ran out to find him again. I stayed at my desk working. She came zooming back when he got out of the bathroom and he went to pick her up to put her wheels on so they could run around together, but when he tried to pick her up, something wasn't right. He struggled to get her on her back to see what was wrong, and she had gotten rug burn so bad she had ripped some skin off on her tummy and was bleeding a lot This was after hours and nobody was really around, so I held her down while he went and found a first-aid kit and I cleaned it with an antiseptic wipe and tried to bandage it with some gauze. When we got home I cleaned it again, put on some polysporin and gauze and wrapped her with a tensor bandage! Poor girl... it looked so painful. Good thing she couldn't feel it! We kept her pretty immobile for the weekend so she wouldn't aggravate it more. It's looking better and healing, but I'm feeling like a bad mom for letting it happen!
