Has anyone tried this mat that gives the dog a (very little) shock/tone to stop the dog entering a room etc? It is said to be Vet approved and harmless to dogs and cats and even pups and kittens. It had good reviews and seemed very effective. I bought one to try and stop my little jumpin' Houdini going up the stairs, but he walks over it like it wasn't there!!! (I am scared he will jump down the stairs or go thru the rails and break his legs, and have tried gates etc to no avail.) He does not like to be confined in a pen or single room and this seemed an excellent idea, in theory, to give him safety and freedom too! He is 2yrs and 8 pounds.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has used it and how it worked for you. Thanks.
