I have a friend who had this surgery on one of her yorkies two months ago and he is just now starting to use his leg on a consistent basis. She used a different surgeon and the only thing she did was water therapy. It just takes time. |
Dr Nelson mentioned the possibility of having him swim if he doesn't start to use it on his own. But that would be after his stitches are out.
Funny how different vets have their preferences.
