Try not pulling him towards you or picking him up. Instead wait till he comes to you, NO eye contact that's intimidating. And then cuddle.
You just want to try to build up his self confidence again. Try leaving him with toys that will keep him busy while you're gone. |
What's frustrating is we were past this. I've been working with him for over a year and the peeing had completely stopped. That is until this past week. It had been months since he even piddled out of place. I do think the loss of a job 8 months ago was a blessing in helping Kaji adjust. He was happy at home, but I was home with him every single day.
I don't get it.
