It sounds like he's a serious submissive pee-er. Meaning that when you go towards him he urinates. Even thou he loves you and definitely knows you by now. He still pees. Ella does the same thing. She's just not sure of herself. We ABSOLUTELY can NOT spank or discipline her. We have to have to have to train with positive rewards and ignore her actions that we don't like.
Try not pulling him towards you or picking him up. Instead wait till he comes to you, NO eye contact that's intimidating. And then cuddle.
You just want to try to build up his self confidence again. Try leaving him with toys that will keep him busy while you're gone. |
