precisely my question. that makes Charlize a white African American. see how it gets confusing. I suppose they all make sure they say South... as in ''I'm South African/American. Personally, I've always just figured you are where you are or want to be, I don't understand all the combos. It's okay if that is what they prefer, to each his own. For some reason I never tell people I'm Amerasian, just American. Only time I think about it is when I fill out the little boxes on applications that ask about race. My DH is 100% German, he never says he's German/American, just American. Ah well... was just curious.
