I have had VPI since Simon was a puppy, he was very sick for 4 months and they covered so much. When I rescued Hallie I got her a plan too and they offer a small discount when you have 2 pets. I personally haven't had any problems with them. Simon has a lot of stomach problems and goes to the vet fairly often and certainly the reimbursement I got from his surgery was a godsend. Also they cover issues like ear infections, eye problems, vaccinations, I really like them. They also cover emergency things, this summer Hallie got stung by a bee and had to see an emergency vet and get medicine and they covered that as well. I'm sure that it is just like everything else, you have to research and see what the consensus is and what you think will work for you. My previous vet in Alaska recommended them so I got it and have kept with them. I wish my little man was too healthy to need insurance but he isn't so I keep it.
