 Therapy Dogs
Both JB and I are Hospice Volunteers. DJ, rest his little soul, was Pet Therapy certified and brought such joy and smiles to the nursing home residents and patients. Zack and Zoey are both PT certified and continue in DJ path.
I would wait until at least a year old. Zack and Zoey were around 4 and 5 yrs old. DJ was around 6. They are rescues so we never really know how old they actually are.
Please ask Hospices in your area about both you and your pup becoming volunteers and getting certified.
