Hi All! Making our debut with this post :-). I'm a new yorkie owner, proud mama to Faith. I've been researching the breed for awhile and finally brought home a baby with full AKC rights for possible showing. I have been reading up on past threads and trying to get as much info into yorkies and the showing world. It's very exciting. A little about my baby, she has a very calm temperament. At 4 months, her puppy coat is still going strong with very rich colors. By a past thread I know this could mean something or nothing at all...lol. We have recently started getting used to grooming and standing on a table. Next on the agenda is stacking and ear taping. Hers are at the half flop stage...lol. I just wanted to say this thread has been amazing and I finally decided to join after salivating over the info. Now, my little faith hasn't had champions in her bloodlines since the great grandparents because the breeder retired from showing. I'm hoping this won't hurt her too much. I think she's gorgeous just like all yorkie parents...lol. However, I must say that so far spending time with her and learning with her has been so much fun!!! She's got "sit" and "go to your bed" down... leash training is coming along, and well she does not like "down" at all.... Maybe there is a little diva in her after all...lol. Attached are pics of her a 8 weeks and 12 weeks. :-) Sorry for the long post but I guess it's first timers enthusiasm...lol. Again, I wanted to thank you all for being so awesome and helpful in the past threads, you've been yorkie guru's for Faith and I!!
P.S.
Any advice or evaluations of/for my little one are greatly appreciated
