I crate as well. From the first night we had Winnie she was in her crate. She didn't care for it at first but now she prefers her crate when she is home alone.
At night we put a blanket over the bed otherwise I don't think she sleeps well. During the day we move the crate to the living room and don't cover it. She is in there for around 5 hours at a time.
I feel bad too especially when I have to go somewhere after work and she in it more. I would hate to have most of my life in a 2 foot by 1 foot space.
It's really just keeping her safe. She's pretty investigative! |
