Yea. I've always considered soul food as southern cooking. I think that's where it originated from. Lol....yea it took me SOME TIME to master fried chicken....the blood would always rise to the top & then turn black. It made the chicken look less appetizing.

& wow! I never knew Mickey D's sold GRITS!!! (Personally I can't stand it) but wow.....sheesh....you learn somethin new everyday.
