I'm mostly Irish. My mom is completely Irish. We're not entirely sure what my dad is (his father grew up in an orphanage), but my last name is German, and his dad's mother's last name is Irish. But his grandmother on his mom's side (are you following this? LOL) is Puerto Rican. I have very tan skin and dark hair and eyes, so no one ever believes me when I tell them that I'm like 75% Irish haha!

what the heck is so strange about being asked about heritage? We should all be very proud of where we come from. My mom and I spend hours doing geneology research. I think it sparks very interesting discussions.
