Sounds like maybe she's guarding YOU? If it only happens in your presence. Ringo used to do this when Lucy first came home and it will impact their relationships if allowed to continue.
When Ringo would do this, say when sitting in my lap, or even on the floor in front of me - we would put him in another room for a while. He caught on rather quickly.
