The one person I placed a dog in tact with is in weekly contact with me, does not make any final decisions without getting my approval or my mentor's. I operate in the same manner with any dogs that I've obtained from other breeders; contract or no contract. Integrity, honesty are qualities that one is born with, they can't be taught. |
I think that we have to go out on a limb and trust some, but every time we do, there is a chance that the trust can be broken. So you can't judge a breeder as doing the wrong thing when they trusted someone that they thought were trustworthy because the only way to prevent it from happening is to never place an intact dog. Good breeders do their best, but there are always thorns in a rose bush.
