Why not just spay her? If she had to have a c-section, she isn't a candidate for breeding anyway, so no reason to keep her intact. Would be so much simpler for a spay, then she wouldn't have the risks of pyometra or breast cancer (which increase every time she is in heat). Wouldn't have to send your boys away, either.
