Sometimes, in the early training stages, people punish the dog for pooping on the floor, by putting them in the crate, so that might be teaching them that this is where you want them to go. |
He was never punished for pooping by being put in the crate. He was not my first puppy, so I had been through training before and knew not to do that. I've ready countless articles and books to resolve this problem. It just appears that he won't get it, I guess.
