according to my vet, there is NO difference in the 1 yr vs. the 3 year shot including no difference in doseage. The only thing is that the prodical is the 1 yr shot is given the first time, then 1 yr later they give the 3 yr shot.. which is exactly the same as the 1 yr.. lol

PS.. mine get a dose of baby benadryl prior to the shot
