When I speak with my vet again, I am going to ask about this. I believe she may have explained it some time ago and I forgot. I just know that she never repeats them in a month. I have had many adult dogs go through my home and it was never done. It is not like a puppy getting core vaccines. I have to get out of the house or I would do more reading. I am very curious now myself.
