Was he neutered when you got him? If he was, chances are he has had vaccines in his past.
When I take an adult dog to my vet with an unknown history, my vet gives one DHPP...she does not repeat it one month later. It is then given the following year and then every three years. I would do some research about this. See what Dr. Dodds suggests...also take a look at the AAHA recommendations. |
