Thank you! My friend managed to get few of his co workers to sign in NY. I think it's great. I'm gong to fill in the info for my sister who lives in FL. she's lazy to do it & I told her I can do it for her. Laziness stinks!!!

I even tell them which areas in Wales (the main puppy farm area in the UK). are the worst, and where they should avoid going on holiday.
If we keep spreading the word, however small our efforts seem, hopefully, eventually something will be done. |
Poppy is lucky to be in loving home now!
Is puppy mill/puppy farm nice word? puppy farm doesn't sound too bad. Should have used ugly word.
I have no idea Wales is the main puppy mill. What a shame it's like that almost everywhere in the world. How did it start? Because of WWII? I remember my parents adopted the first dog from the pound but they gave him away to a friend (don't know why) then we got another one from the pound. That mutt was so smart, sadly, he got killed when my dad accidentally ran him over at night. He was not aware of Blacky following him into the garage. the 3rd was from pet store.

We never saw a dachshund & my mom fell in love with the breed. All dogs, only three dogs we had were from pet stores. We were not aware about puppy mills until AOL went unlimited in '96. There were not many pictures & it didn't get to me until few years later.
