Tia is going to have her little surgery next month (spay and teeth). I'm a bit nervous, but know she will be okay. Ally had it done a year ago at 3 lbs and she did wonderful. Ally is very laid back and has very sensitive skin and I worried. My vet makes them stay overnight and that freaked me out, especially knowing she would be in the kennel all the time. Well, she did wonderful. She didn't even want soft/canned dog food. She preferred her normal hard puppy food. She was tender to be picked up, so I sat on the floor with her for a couple of days. We tried to limit our picking her up, but other than that, she did wonderful. She had 13 baby teeth removed. We have them in a little baggie! |
