I'd really recommend trying it. I'm the one who started the Acana Kibble Size thread because of my concerns, but my babies have had no problems eating it at all.
Several weeks ago I adopted a tiny baby girl who weighed less than a pound at the time. I free feed Acana to my other pups, and once she discovered their Acana she completely refused to eat her old food.
She would sit there with her tiny little mouth crunching away on a piece of kibble until she had it all gone, then she'd go back for another piece. She's 2.12 pounds now and it's the Acana like a big girl.
All of my babies love this food.
I just want to add that normally foods should be switched gradually to prevent upset tummies.
