I find this topic interesting as a retailer because I carry very few shirts for $10 or coats/sweaters for $20 or less. The reason behind this is that I would rather carry higher quality products at a higher price point. If I was to sell shirts for $10 or coats/sweaters for $20 the quality would be extremely lacking. I have brought in a few items that would retail at that and I refused to sell it because I wouldn't even want my own dog to wear it.

Example- Chilly Dog sweaters. I have yet to find a dog sweater that is as thick as they are. Yes they are more expensive, but if someone is looking for a nice warm, thick dog sweater they are the first I tell them to buy. I wish I could have some Chilly dog sweaters for me to wear!
i would buy only if i'm sure it's good quality, usually i have to physically see the stuff before i drop big bucks, for online shopping i prefer to buy products with more detailed photos. i usually don't shop at websites that put those nice looking photoshop pix
