Jackson got horrible gross goop while on Wellness, and Fromm. Some ingredient did not agree with him. I know it was the food, because a few days after switching, eye goop was gone. He will occasionally wake up with some eye crusties, as I call them, but they are hard and really easy to just pick out. Before, they were more runny and goopy and gross... even with his eye hair cut. So I think food definitely, plus environmental allergies can do it. Individual dogs may be more prone to it than others. Orijen, Acana, and Natures Variety Instinct seem to be the only 3 foods where he wakes up with almost virtually no eye boogers at all and I don't think it's a coincidence because I fed NV Instinct for a week, then tried feeding Fromm again, and after a few days... eye goop was back.

Trying to sell me on that Orijen again - huh? - LOL!!!
