I've tried quite a few foods in the 5 years of having my Yorkie, Annie.
Every dog is a little different..just read up on the foods, their ratings and contents. Right now we are using Wellness Core Reduced Fat dry food, and moistening it with water. adding a little cottage cheese and diceing up Fresh Pet Chicken (its a refrigerated dog food, comes in a roll like a big sausage) and Annie loves it. I make a batch for 3 days and keep it refrigerated. She was having lots of stinky, nasty poo problems, but this combo works well for her and the both foods have a good rating. No more problems. Some dogs don't tolerate foods that have high quantities of grain.....its just a trial and error thing until you find the one that works and is going to keep your dog healthy.
