The longer you wait, the better for lepto. It should be given as a single. It is given twice (three weeks apart) and then every year. Best not to give with other vaccines since reactions aren't uncommon. Yorkies are particularly sensitive (along with other small breeds). It should only be given if the bacteria is prevalent in your area. Only you and your vet decide if the risk of the disease outweighs the risk of the vaccine.
He may be sore and tired from the DHPP. Most do fine with it. Children's Benadryl should be handy and know the dose (you can ask the vet to calculate it). They should tell you what side effects they'd be concerned about.
