Hazel sounds a lot like my Stormy! Stormy is a little over 9 weeks. I took her to the groomer yesterday and had them trim her ears for me and today she is going to the vet and I'm going to ask them if they will tape them for me.
If not, I'll do it when we get home. But her ears are just floppy at the top too like you are describing Hazel's. Good luck and I hope she gets used to it soon!
