I don't know about the potty training, because all of mine go outside. When I adopted Tia at Easter, it drove me crazy too. She loved to eat, while my other two dogs didn't care to eat. She just turned 7 months and is learning to eat out of her dish only. She gets the puppy food and my other two get dog food. She is doing pretty good, but I do have to pick up Ally's dish if I'm gone for a while. It seems to be totally empty when I return! ha ha Ally is a very picky eater and I know she didn't eat it all. I have to monitor Ally because she is only 3 lb 2 oz. Initially, I had to pick Tia up so Ally could eat because Tia would just push her way in there. Ally is so totally laid back, she just left her dish. I guess that why Tia went from 8 oz at 10 weeks to somewhere around 4 lbs now. She is a little piggy! I started by telling her 'no' and putting her back at her dish, but still a work in progress. Good luck with your new baby! |
