This is a great time to baby her , she will love it and so will you. If she still is not drinking you can try a little syringe with water and just squirt it in the side of her mouth, I had to do that for a few days with one of mine as she would not drink at all. They all react differently, but in general, once they are feeling better, you usually have a harder time keeping them from jumping or running around too much.
Sending gentle little hugs for your baby girl! | I just had my little Chorkie spayed, and I kept her in a big doggie crate w/her bed on one end and puddle pad on the other...However, she didn't pee, until the next morning, when I let her out...She's not normally crated, but I didn't want her to jump...I actually kept her in the doggie playroom for 3 days, so she wouldn't get nuts w/her brother and sister...She was such a good girl, and never complained...I couldn't even give her chew toys, as she also had her dental and a tooth removed...Just don't let her jump for about 72 hrs., and then maybe put something between the couch and the floor, so it's not too high to jump up or down...Yorkie kisses to your baby...And a hug for Mama, as you'll probably need one tonight... |
