Max is 10 weeks, weighs 2.1 lbs. I am feeding RC puppy kibble. But he just picks at it unless I moisten it with water or put some parmesan cheese lightly on the top. So, how do I know how much to feed him? And when does free feeding stop, at what age?
It probably says how much on the bag, for his weight...I'd think about 1/4 cup a day for a 2 lb. pup...You can also put about a tsp. of yogurt, not low fat, and nothing w/artificial sweetners in it, and no flavored yogurt....If you can get the cream top, that would be good....I'd recommend the little baby plain yogurts made by stoneyfield...they make the little 4 oz. containers of cream top...This will give you pup some probiotics and he'll love it! I used to use this w/Apple, when she was on kibble...Now I feed raw...Congrats on the new baby
