  I know, and that is sad.  As you have been told, breeders who breed for the tinies and advertise them as teacups, do just to get more moneyf. 
People, such as yourself, actually believe there is such a dog and that they are worth more money. 
Some of those breeders will sell you a 6 week old puppy, telling you it is 10 or 12 weeks, so you think it is tiny, and what you are actually getting is an average sized yorkie that is too young to be taken from it's mother. 
A 5 or 6 pound dog is still a very small dog and small enough to carry around all day.
