Yes, it works, i had more treatments on my lower legs (appx 15 tx)than i had to underarms(appx 10ish tx). The darker your hair the better the results.
I don't think it hurt, it's like a rubber band "flicking" your skin when it "zaps".... 
As far as the cost, I didn't think it was much 
Fast forward to TODAY with those areas, it's not a FOREVER result. You WILL need follow up treatments (if you choose)..I haven't. I have never shaved my underarms since, i do use small s cissors for the few "straglers" under my arms. I do shave my lower legs a few times a month, not b/c you can see black hair, it's the blonde "downing" that when the sun hits it shows just how long it is and mkae you look like amazon woman. You can barely feel or see it, just watch the sun Hope that helps, I'm all for it, jsut putting off the area i want to do b/c supposendly it's the most "tender" area to get done *sigh* |

The clinic I plan to use is offering a special right now, where if you buy one 'area' you can have another 'area' done for half price. I was seriously thinking about doing the underarms as my second 'area' (can't pass up a deal like that
) and now I think you've talked me in to it. If I like how it does in these two areas I would looooove to have my legs done!!
