If I breed a male horse with a female donkey I get a hinney which is more horselike - shorter ears, longer tail, and much more fragile - especially as a baby. Both donkeys and hinneys are sterile as I am sure that you already know. So with that introduction the question I ask is: Is there any spcific differences that can be expected if sire is a Yorkie and the dam is a Maltese VS the sire being a Maltese and the dam a Yorkie?
I do want to add that I am not in favor of the new "designer breed" fad. What I see is a multitude of new mixed breeds for sale at huge prices when there are a multitude of mixed breeds losing their lives for lack of homes. | You are DEEP Cindy! lol! But it is a good question.
