I am so sorry for your sudden and tragic loss. I always heard, the louder the thunder the closer the lightning. I was too close for comfort to a lightning stike a couple of years ago and it was one of the scariest feelings I have ever felt as it traveled through the air and building I was in. I can't imagine how a small pet would feel being outside when that happend. Best wishes as you deal with this and the birth of your baby at the same time. Hugs to you.
