Macy uses the Potty Patch. Since switching to the Potty Patch from Pee Pads she doesn't think the area rugs are a place to go too. I think the feel of the synthetic grass made her catch on that this is the place to do her business. I use Pee Pads under the grass for easy cleanup and once a week hose off the grass to clean it. I also didn't want to go outside in the winter plus we have fox and coyote nearby.
