Here are a few things I do to keep harley cool (when I drive home it's 3 hours in an unairconditioned car)...

If you can't find a cooling blanket, you could always wrap an icepack in a towel and put it under her bed in her crate... assuming you're bringing the crate. Another thing I did was put a jacket over the top of his crate, with the white interior facing up, and the dark side on the inside, That way it deflects the sun, and they have shade.

Dipping paws in the water, and bringing either icecubes, or frozen chicken broth cube etc as treats helps as well. a squirt bottle is good too. Those are all the things to keep Harley cool. Have fun and good luck
